Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble, recording, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
