Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
