The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11
