Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HA MIM. 1 'Am Sin Qaf. 2 Thus does Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Wise reveal to you even as (He revealed) to those (Messengers) who preceded you. 3 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. He is all-high and supreme. 4 The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 5 And Allah is watching those who have chosen supporters besides Him; and you are not responsible for them. 6 And thus We have inspired unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Quran (in Arabic) that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (Makkah) and all around it. And warn of the Day of Assembling, of which there is no doubt, when a party will be in Paradise (those who believed in Allah and followed what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them) and a party in the blazing Fire (Hell) (those who disbelieved in Allah and followed not what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them). 7 Had God wanted, He could have made them all one single nation, but He grants mercy to whomever He wills. The unjust will have no guardian or helper. 8 Or have they taken guardians besides Him? But Allah is the Guardian, and He gives life to the dead, and He has power over all things. 9
