Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
