The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
