ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 Through boiling water, and then burnt in the Fire. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant." 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 We sent other Messengers before you; of some, We have already told you, of others We have not told you. Yet it was not for any Messenger to bring a verse except by the permission of Allah. And when the command of Allah comes the matter will be justly decided; and the vaindoers will be lost. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
