Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a known extent. 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
