And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
