Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
