The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
