Prophet, tell your wives, daughters, and the wives of the believers to cover their bosoms and breasts. This will make them distinguishable from others and protect them from being annoyed. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 61 That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper. 65 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy grace!" 68
