۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
