Nay, by the Moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the sinners. 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
