The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
