Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 yet you ignore it. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
