The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
