▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
