The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 who demand of other people full measure for themselves, 2 And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 a day when mankind shall stand before the Lord of all Being? 6 Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin. 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 A Register inscribed. 9 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 10 those who deny the Day of Judgement. 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." 13 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 Then indeed they have to enter hell. 16 Then, it will be said to them: "This is what you used to deny!" 17 But, the Book of the righteous is in the 'Illiyoon. 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss: 22 On thrones, watching. 23 Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss. 24 Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed: 25 its seal will be of musk -- for this let the aspirants aspire -- 26 With the wine is a drink from Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 Indeed the guilty used to laugh at the believers. 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; 31 And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." 32 But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 Reclining on couches, looking on. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
