HENCE, [remember how it was] when thy Sustainer summoned Moses: "Go unto those evil doing people. 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?" 11 He said: my Lord! verily I fear they shall belie me. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. 15 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger See verse 28:15) 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
