Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
