The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extending columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
