And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 My breast is constricted and my tongue is not fluent, so endow Messengership on Aaron. 13 As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death." 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 Then send with us the children of Israel. 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 (Pharaoh) said: If thou choosest a god other than me, I assuredly shall place thee among the prisoners. 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33
