Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
