AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
