The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
