The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing exalting. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
