۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 this is not a great matter for Allah. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike; 19 nor are the darkness and the light; 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. 22 You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 then I seized the unbelievers, and how was My horror! 26
