The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
