And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
