Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
whom God will tell, "My servants, you need have no fear on this day, nor will you be grieved". 68 Ye who believed in Our revelations and were Muslims. 69 Enter paradise, you and your spouses, with happiness blest!" 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 Such is the Paradise you shall inherit, for the things you did. 72 Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire). 73 As for the evil-doers, they shall endure forever the torment of Hell, 74 which will not be lightened for them, and therein they shall be silent. 75 We did not wrong them, but they were harmdoers. 76 They will cry, "Master, if only your Lord would put an end to us!" But he [the angel] will answer, "No! You are here to stay." 77 We brought you the truth but most of you disliked it". 78 Do they assume that they have made their work thorough? So We shall make Our work thorough. 79 Or do they, perchance, think that We do not hear their hidden thoughts and their secret confabulations? Yea, indeed, [We do,] and Our heavenly forces are with them, recording [all]. 80 Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! 82 But leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised: 83 He it is Who is God in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most Wise, the All-Knowing. 84 And blessed be He to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, and with Whom is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Whom you (all) will be returned. 85 And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly. 86 (Muhammad), if you ask them, "Who had created the idols?" They will certainly say, "God has created them." Why do you then turn away from God? 87 We call to witness the cry of the Messenger: “O Lord, these are a people not wont to believe!” 88 So turn away from them (O Muhammad SAW), and say: Salam (peace)! But they will come to know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
