Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 Revelation of this Book, whereof there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say: 'He has forged it himself' Say: 'No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you can warn a nation to whom none has warned before you, in order that they are guided. 3 It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition? 4 He regulates the affair from the heaven to the earth; then shall it ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count. 5 This is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty the Merciful, 6 It is He Who created everything in the best manner and began the creation of the human being from clay. 7 then made his progeny from the extract of a mean fluid, 8 Then He moulded him; He breathed His Spirit into him; He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts. How seldom you are grateful! 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Proclaim, “The angel of death, who is appointed over you, causes you to die and then towards your Lord you will return.” 11
