Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who walk aright [true believers in the Oneness of Allah who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
