So will he whose bosom Allah has opened up for Islam – he is therefore upon a light from his Lord – ever be equal to one who is stone hearted? Therefore ruin is for those whose hearts are hardened towards the remembrance of Allah; they are in open error. 22 Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide. 23 What about the one who will have only his bare face to protect him from his terrible punishment on the Day of Resurrection? The evil-doers will be told, "Taste what you have earned." 24 Those that were before them cried lies, then the chastisement came upon them from whence they were not aware; 25 So Allah made them taste the disgrace in this world's life, and certainly the punishment of the hereafter is greater; did they but know! 26 We have given examples of every kind for men in this Qur'an so that they may contemplate: 27 The Qur’an in Arabic, having no deviation at all, so that they may be pious. 28 [To this end,] God sets forth a parable: A man who has for his masters several partners, [all of them] at variance with one another, and a man depending wholly on one person: can these two be deemed equal as regards their condition? [Nay,] all praise is due to God [alone]: but most of them do not understand this. 29 Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. 30 Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord. 31
