Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure. 10 Say thou: verily I am commanded to worship Allah, making for Him religion exclusive. 11 And I am commanded that I shall be the first of those who submit. 12 Say: Lo! if I should disobey my Lord, I fear the doom of a tremendous Day. 13 Say: Allah I worship, making my religion pure for Him (only). 14 "Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss! 15 Above and below them their will be shadows of fire. This is how God frightens His servants. My servants have fear of Me. 16 And those who put away false gods lest they should worship them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them there are glad tidings. Therefor give good tidings (O Muhammad) to My bondmen 17 who listen [closely] to all that is said, and follow the best of it: [for] it is they whom God has graced with His guidance, and it is they who are [truly] endowed with insight! 18 Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire? 19 Those who have fear of their Lord will have lofty mansions built upon mansions beneath which streams flow. It is the promise of God. God does not disregard His promise. 20 Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding. 21
