O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 and beware of the fire which awaits those who deny the truth! 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to a forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as wide as heaven and earth, prepared for the cautious 133 who spend in prosperity and in adversity, for those who curb their anger and those who forgive people. And Allah loves the charitable 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 They shall be recompensed by forgiveness from their Lord and by gardens beneath which rivers flow; there they shall abide. How good is the reward of those who labour! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 This is an exposition unto mankind and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-fearing. 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If misfortune touches you, [know that] similar misfortune has touched [other] people as well; for it is by turns that We apportion unto men such days [of fortune and misfortune]: and [this] to the end that God might mark out those who have attained to faith, and choose from among you such as [with their lives] bear witness to the truth - since God does not love evildoers 140 and that God might render pure of all dross those who have attained to faith, and bring to nought those who deny the truth. 141 Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)? 142 You were longing for death, before you met it. Now you have seen it with your own eyes. 143
