But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
