The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
