▼ 52 The Mountain

Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather they are not certain. 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). 46 But, verily, for those who are bent on doing evil, there is suffering in store [even] closer at hand than that [supreme suffering in the hereafter]: but most of them are not aware of it. 47 Be patient, then, (O Prophet), until the judgement of your Lord comes. For surely you are before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise, 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
