He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, 5 to a rich man, 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 most exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 noble, pious. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what thing did He create him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 How We pour water in showers 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 and olives and palms, 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 And when the Blast shall sound, 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 his mother and his father, 35 and his consort and his children; 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 with darkness overspread: 41 Those! they are the infidels, the ungodly. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
