Al-Suff 2 of 2
O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment. 10 You shall believe in Allah and His Messenger and struggle for His Way with your possessions and yourselves. That is better for you, if you but knew. 11 He will forgive you your sins and will admit you to Gardens beneath which rivers flow. He will lodge you in excellent mansions in the Gardens of eternity. That is the supreme triumph. 12 He will give you another blessing which you desire: help from God and imminent victory. Give good tidings [O Muhammad] to believers! 13 O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost. 14
True are the words of God the Almighty.
