In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
