The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
