The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
