Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
