The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
