And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
