Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
