In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
