Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
